A day in the role of a Guest Attendant at Oxford Manor Retirement Residence.

As a Guest Attendant at Oxford Manor Retirement Residence, you will be given high expectations, as well as an expectation to continue personal growth and professional growth. In this position, you will be gifted with a rewarding experience every day in the form of being able to see the exact impact you place on our residents.

This position is responsible for but not limited to:
- Performs a wide variety of tasks that may include general housekeeping, laundry, recreational activities and providing general assistance with personal care and daily living activities of residents,- Provides direction and guidance to Residents in the provision of activities of daily living as per care plan,- Monitors Resident’s level of wellness and responds to medical emergencies,- Observing and reporting changes in the Resident’s physical and emotional condition to the Registered associates as required,- Maintains effective communication with Residents, families and fellow associates,- Promotes the Vision, Mission and Values of Lifetimes Living Inc. as well as the Residents’ Bill of Rights,- Serving of meals in the dining room,
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
At the Oxford Manor Retirement Residence we take pride in our employees, so your qualifications are important to us. We use them to get to know you and see if we are a good fit for each other. The qualifications needed to join our family at Oxford Manor Retirement Residence are as follows:
- A graduate of high school/ college/ university,- Experienced in working with seniors in a Retirement Home setting Current CPR & First Aid Certificate,- Knowledge and understanding of the Retirement Homes Act and other applicable legislation,- Familiar with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act,- Must have a clear vulnerable sector screen, no older than 6 months, TB test results less than 6 months old, must be able to provide three supervisory references.How to apply?
