About The Role

The Technician, Instrumentation is responsible for performing routine maintenance and preventative

maintenance on non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment. Technician, Instrumentation

also provides coaching and training for laboratory and clinic employees.

What You'll Do Here
- To perform calibration, routine and preventative maintenance of non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment;
- To perform troubleshooting and repair on non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment;
- Coaching and training of laboratory and clinic employees
- To provide its technical expertise as part of the event resolution.
- To conduct all work in compliance with SOPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.
- Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures;
- To participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies;
- To collaborate with laboratory and clinical trainers to ensure the suitable operation of laboratory and clinical equipment;
- To act as the backup for the disaster recovery plan with regards to freezers and refrigerators (laboratory and clinical);
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Post High School Studies with experience/knowledge in electromecanics and/or in the medical industry and/or in biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience/knowledge in electromecanics and/or in the medical industry. Must have understanding of the general SOPs applicable to instrumentation and in knowledge of FDA-GLP.
- Attentive to details
- manual dexterity
- capable of handling heavy equipment
- must possess strong technical problem-solving skills
- ability to prioritize, good organizational and communication skills (especially written).
- Able to function with mínimal supervision.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledgeable of ISO guidelines. GLP minded.
- Customer service oriented.
- Must have a car
