**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Psychology Lead, the Psychometrist is a member of an inter-professional team providing screening, diagnostic assessment, therapy and consultation services to children with Autism and their families.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Provide clinical psychometric services to children through screening, assessment, treatment and consultation services;
- Screen young children for signs of Autism and identify those that require diagnostic assessment;
- Conduct comprehensive ASD diagnostic assessments with diagnosticians (Psychologist, Developmental Paediatrician or Paediatrician);
- Collect and analyze data as required;
- Share relevant findings of screenings and diagnostic assessments with families;
- Advise families of treatment options available pre and post diagnosis;
- Produce reports of screening and diagnostic assessments in a concise manner using family-friendly language;
- Provide consultation and value-added clinical recommendations to clients and their families;
- Provide training, education, and consultative services to staff, parents and the community;
- Support any FFS consultation, assessment, and treatment packages as appropriate
- Meet set performance metrics while maximizing billable hours;
- All other reasonable duties as assigned and identified by the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field, from a recognized institution is required;
- 5 years’ experience working with children and youth with Autism;
- Demonstrated skill in/knowledge of cognitive, psychological, and behavioral assessment and treatment of children with Autism;
- Previous experience with administering and interpreting ADOS-2 is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an inter-professional team setting;
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills;
- Applicants must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
