**THE ROLE**:
As **Director, Program Management**, you will provide hands-on leadership and execution oversight for GSTS’s projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer impact.
You’ll manage project teams while actively driving Agile and SCRUM methodologies to deliver results.
This role requires both strategic vision and execution expertise.
The Director, Program Management will be laser-focused on cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement in a dynamic project environment.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Project Execution**: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including delivery, product, and commercial business, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- **Requirements Analysis**: Implement a framework for engaging with customers to elicit requirements and ensure project outcomes meet their needs and expectations.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are taken to address potential issues.
- **Performance Monitoring**:Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of programs and projects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Strategic Leadership**: Define and implement a program management strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and business objectives.
- **Team Management**: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in engineering or technical field and PMP designation.
- 7-10 years of leadership experience in project/program management ideally within a software development or R&D environment.
- Extensive experience in understanding business requirements along with a strong analytical and communication skills with adaptability, evidenced by experience in diverse technological domains.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Ability to make judicious tradeoffs.
