**Position Summary**
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Lead efforts to standardize management system frameworks for Quality, CI, Export Compliance and EHS (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.) across all regions of the corporation.
- Establish related corporate-wide programs to promote operational excellence, including improved quality, cost and delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and develop a thorough understanding of applicable laws and industry standards.
- Maintain related policies, manuals, procedures and documentation. Assess the potential impact of new or changing legislation and stakeholder requirements. Develop and implement associated training.
- Provide leadership in the management of multi-site projects and initiatives. Liaise with all departments, manage cross-functional teams and create, track and manage projects. Hold all resource allocated to the project/initiative accountable for their roles and responsibilities to ensure the program runs on time and to budget.
**Position Requirements**
- Degree in Engineering and/or Business-Related program
- Project Management accreditation (e.g., PMP designation) is an asset
- ISO auditor certification is an asset
- 10+ years of proven experience in leading projects ideally in aerospace, involving multi-site, cross-functional teams.
- Varied multi-disciplined experience.
- Experience as a customer contact.
- 5+ years of experience in managing technical personnel and cross-functional teams. These experiences should be gained in areas of engineering or technical operations.
- Previous experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Business Acumen; Communication; Motivation; Team building; Critical thinking & Problem solving; Conflict management; Timely decision-making.
- Proficient business communication (both written and oral)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good analytical skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, MS Project)
- The ability to negotiate with all stakeholders
- The ability to coordinate activities inter-company and with multiple departments such as Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Sales, etc.
