Rama, Canada Catherine Faint Entertainment (CFE) Full time

Experienced Audio Tech/Backline required (min 2 years) with professional audio equipment.

Knowledge of how Digital Audio consoles and Analog Audio consoles work.

Knowledge of how Line Array PA systems work.

Knowledge of microphone types and their specific uses, how to handle them etc.

Knowledge of how wireless microphone and IEM systems work.

Ability to troubleshoot audio problems effectively and proficiently.

Ability to completely set up band instruments and equipment which also includes setup of:
Drum Sets / Keyboards / Bass & Guitar amplifiers / Electronic instruments such as touchpads or synthesizers.

Ability to troubleshoot issues including: Signal flow issues including failures or noise (buzz or static). Replacement of drum heads.

Must be able to understand and follow a stage plot.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Good presentation skills.

Willing to train other technicians.

Should work diligently to get the show/event up and running as quickly as possible.

Should be timely with a should have a positive attitude and a desire to succeed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week
