**Job Summary**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Perform **rough carpentry tasks** such as framing, sheathing, blocking, and deck construction.
- Carry out **finish carpentry** including trim, doors, cabinetry, stairs, and detailed interior work.
- Complete **service and warranty work**, diagnosing and repairing construction deficiencies as needed.
- Conduct caulking, painting, and general finishing to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Engage in general construction and restoration tasks as needed across multiple project sites.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, siding, and roofing work when required.
- Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Perform physical labour duties as necessary, including lifting and material handling.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience in **rough and finish carpentry** in residential construction.
- Strong background in **service and warranty work**, with problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Tarion’s new home construction would be an asset
- Reading and understanding construction drawings.
- Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of roofing, siding, caulking, plumbing, and electrical basics is an asset.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform construction-related tasks.
- Previous maintenance or renovation experience is highly valued.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
