**CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Board Supervisor (2 Line) for our gypsum plant, based in Hagersville, Ontario.**

It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their leadership ability and expertise in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Under the guidance of the Foreman, the Board Supervisor directs the functions of the crew.

**Additional responsibilities of the Board Supervisor (2 Line) include**:

- Maintaining/contributing to production levels, participating in a team environment, and working in a manufacturing environment in the safest, most efficient and profitable manner as possible.
- Providing ongoing feedback to the crew and coaching employees to help them develop their skills and abilities.
- Recommending and directing the hiring, motivating, and training of hourly personnel. Administering personnel activities such as wage actions, promotions, disciplinary actions, and evaluations.
- Assisting in the implementation of USG Model Programs, Safety Rules, JSA's/VWI's and Standard Operating Procedures, as required.
- Exercising personal safety, promote and enforce safety among crew members.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.
