Barista/wine Steward

The Grind and Vine are seeking a friendly barista to join their team. The Grind and Vine is a coffee house and wine bar with a curated social environment that prides itself on inclusion and accessibility. In this position, the barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, wine and food to patrons. Our baristas are enthusiastic about coffee and wine and creating a genuine customer relationships.

POSITION REQUIRES: THURSDAY - SATURDAY Availability

**Job Duties**:

- Provide excellent customer service in a clean and welcoming environment
- Discuss the drink menu with customers and answer questions
- Preparation for drinks according to in-house recipes
- Clean and maintain all equipment
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures

**Qualifications**:
**We are looking for a social individual that loves making connections with others**
- High School diploma
- Ability to actively listen and verbally communicate with a wide range of people daily
- Keen awareness of the value of customer service
- Willingness to work a changing shift schedule, including early mornings and evening hours
- Aptitude for learning in on-the-job in a fast-paced environment
- Previous Barista experience and facility with a wide range of coffee and foodservice terminology
- Smart Serve for serving Wine.

Hours: 10-20 per week
