Lane Closure Technician

**Role**:
Allteck is seeking a **Lane Closure Technician (LCT)**to join us in **Lower Mainland, BC**

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the safe and courteous movement of vehicles and personnel
- Setting-up traffic control zones
- Controlling traffic in construction zones
- Adjusting work zone equipment
- Responding to emergency situations and hazards
- Knowledge and understanding of Traffic Management Plans and the Traffic Control Manual for Work on Roadways as developed by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
- Knowledge of the requirements of the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations related to traffic control
- Working and coordinating with other Traffic Control Persons (TCP's) onsite

**Education, Training and Experience**:

- Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person (TCP) Ticket
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence in Good Standing Preferred, Class 7 Considered
- One year previous experience as a Lane Closure Technician (LCT)
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test as a pre-employment requirement

Must join the IBEW Local 258 Union

Rate $25.98 - $32.35 per hour, plus benefits

Pay: $25.98-$32.35 per hour
