Carpenter Helper

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Helper to assist our team in various areas in our shop. The Carpenter Helper will support the our carpenter in executing tasks related to building, assembling, delivering stairs. They will also be a part of our maintainance staff
*Duties*
- Assist in building stairs
- Insuring that material is put away in a safe way
Making sure shop is clean and safe
organizing work areas for others
*Qualifications*
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction processes
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in carpentry trade
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction is a plus
- Good math skills with the ability to work in decimals and fractions
- Able to lift 35 kilograms by themselves
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
