**Job Summary**

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various activities within our camp programs. The Camp Counsellors plays a pivotal role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for camp participants while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the implementation of camp-wide activities.
- Assist in the pre/post care set up, cleaning, and takedown.
- Engage with campers daily, including learning their name of their first day.
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and security of all participants in your care.
- Act as a positive role model in attitude, health, and wellness for campers, fellow staff and OTC members.
- Perform light administrative tasks such as incident reports, staff meetings, and parent/participant feedback.
- Assist in taking action to deal with incidents, problems, emergencies and parent/caregiver concerns/inquiries as outlined in the OTC’s Policies and Procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Enrolled in a related Post-Secondary Education program (Asset)
- Experience working with kids aged 5 to 13
- Ability to swim and willingness to engage with campers in our Outdoor pool
- Standard First Aid with CPR-C Certification
- Valid Vulnerable Sector check (aged 18+)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
