Member Services and Labour Relations Officer

**Key Responsibilities**: - **Collective Bargaining**: Take an active role in negotiating and implementing collective agreements to ensure fair terms for all union members. - **Dispute Resolution**: Lead the mediation and resolution of labour disputes, grievances, and conflicts in line with Alberta's labour laws and collective agreements. - **Advisory Role**: Provide strategic and legal advice to the CBESA Board, union members, and management on labour relations issues. - **Advocacy and Representation**: Represent the CBESA in labour hearings, arbitrations, and negotiations. Advocate on behalf of members regarding employment concerns and legal proceedings. - **Training and Education**: Lead training initiatives, educating members on their rights, obligations, and collective agreements. Conduct workshops on best practices in labour relations. - **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure compliance with provincial labour laws and collective agreements.
