Kitchen Helper/cashier

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all kitchen staff and patrons.
- Support cooks and chefs in various tasks as needed during busy service periods.
- Stock supplies and ingredients as necessary to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic workspace.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn about meal preparation techniques.
