Doorstep Trash Convenience Inc. is a leading provider of doorstep waste collection services in Edmonton. We offer a hassle-free trash removal experience for multi-family residences, ensuring cleanliness and convenience for tenants while making property management easier for our clients.
We are seeking reliable and efficient individuals to join our team as Waste Collection Service Providers. This part-time role requires working Monday to Friday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, totaling 15 hours per week. Each service provider will be dedicated to one building, responsible for collecting trash and recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps upon request and transporting it to designated disposal areas on the property.
A smartphone with data is required for this job, as it will be needed to receive and respond to resident pickup requests.
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to resident requests and collect trash and recycling from doorsteps
- Ensure waste is efficiently transported to the proper disposal areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate with property management as needed
- Report any issues or concerns with waste collection to supervisors
**Requirements**:
- A smartphone with data to receive customer pickup requests
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk long distances
- Availability to work from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in waste collection or maintenance (preferred but not required)
