**Member Services Coordinator**
**_Description of Duties: _**
- Respond to and log routine inquiries from members and prospective members.
- Review and update entries on a continual basis, examine and update member status periodically as required and ensure accuracy of database information.
- Update and validate changes in member categories, invoicing, payment processing and regular reminders to lapsed or unpaid members.
- Maintain member files, including filing hard copies of correspondence and forms pertaining to member status, and electronic records.
- Provide financial process support - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank deposits etc.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
**_Education and Experience: _**
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two years of previous related work experience, preferably in a not for profit, professional, academic or membership body.
- Previous bookkeeping experience would be an asset.
- Experience with Jonas Club Software would be a definite asset.
**_Skills: _**
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to deal with individuals and situations with tact and diplomacy, in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in facilitating high volumes of registrations in a customer
- oriented environment with accountability for meeting deadlines.
- Well-developed organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out responsibilities with a high regard for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and with specific project teams.
**_Schedule: _**
- This is a part-time (30 hours/week) position from Monday to Friday (9am to
3pm) - exact hours may be discussed during the interview process.
- There could be a few exceptional occasions where work outside of these hours may be required in the evening or weekend.
