**Job Summary**

To ensure the guest experience whilst they enjoy the Hotel's outdoor facilities, including the Pool and Pool Bar.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Keep accurate control records of guests using the pool facilities.
- Follows safety policies, procedures and regulations in supervising the pool area, knowing all emergency procedures and being able to respond accordingly.
- Responds to guest inquiries and provides information about the facilities of the hotel and in the city.
- Responds to incidents and observations in a log book and checks log entries.
- Maintains and tidies pool and changerooms.
- Records maintenance problems in a log book and informs the Maintenance department.
- Ensures proper inventory of guest supplies such as water, towels, magazines, ear phones and toiletry amenities.
- Follows all job safety standards and procedures at all times.
- Each employee is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) at all times when tasks require such (sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat).
- Complies with hotel policies and procedures and wears uniform and name badges.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a Hotel or related industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees and management.
- Good organizational and problem solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift weight up to 70 pounds.
- Certified first aid and CPR is an asset
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
