**Full-Time: 40 Hours/Week, Permanent**

As a foreman, you “Take Care of Banff” by ensuring standards and services related to all aspects of the Streets operations are demonstrated. This role oversees a four-season operation, including coordinating daily duties and project/tasks for the Town of Banff’s roadways and infrastructure. Tasks vary widely from snow and ice management to Special events support and seasonal pageantry.

As a leader, you ensure a diligent commitment to the Town of Banff’s health and safety program and adhere to the protocols in your own and your teams’ performances. You have a natural ability to engage and inspire your team through your exceptional training and commitment to high standards. You interact and build relationships with other departments, external agencies, and members of the public to ensure that support from the Streets team is professional, efficient, and effective.

With at least three (3) years’ work experience in a similar leadership position and industry, your qualifications also include technical and computer competence; specifically in Microsoft Office Suite and asset management software. You are an experienced leader with a strong safety culture where training, coaching, and setting performance expectations to enact at exceptional levels have been practiced.

This position requires you to meet physical demands when operating and positioning equipment, working outside on uneven terrain, in all weather conditions, and lifting weights 10 to 50 lbs. You have a valid Class 3Q Alberta Operator’s license and can provide a current and clear driver’s abstract. A criminal RCMP criminal background check and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (2 doses) are required upon hire.
