Langley, Canada Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital Full time

Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Handyperson with a green thumb to join our growing practice

We are looking for a skilled and motivated handyperson to help around the hospital at it’s new location and office area to ensure the landscaping is completed and little maintenance jobs are performed to ensure the hospital and office areas are aesthetically pleasing and operational. This position will not be responsible for any patient handling; however, you will be working in the vicinity of animals. This position is a part-time position with flexible hours/work schedule of around 10-20 hours of work each week.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- General odd handywork jobs - painting, drywall repair, patchwork, caulking etc. as needed
- General landscaping and garden work - weeding, planting, watering, lawn cutting, trimming bushes, maintaining flower beds, etc - as needed
- General property maintenance, plumbing and simple mechanical and electrical work as needed (example replacing light bulbs)

This position reports directly to the Practice Manager.

**Qualifications**:
Must have good inter-personal skills, and good work effort

Must be able to work with mínimal supervision

Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
