**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities.
- Manage procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials and freight.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize AS400 software for tracking shipments and managing inventory data.
- Coordinate with E-commerce teams to streamline order fulfillment processes.
- Train and mentor logistics staff on best practices in warehouse management and materials handling.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all logistics activities.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving procedures, and freight management.
- Familiarity with E-commerce logistics and its impact on supply chain processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
