**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, using and maintaining pharmacy automation
- 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, using Meditech Pharmacy module
- 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, preparing sterile drugs required (both hazardous and non-hazardous)
- 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment
- Adequate knowledge of regulations governing Hospital Pharmacy practice
- 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, with or certified in, BPMH (Best Possible Medication History) gathering and documentation required
- Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft® Office suite of products efficiently
- Ability to follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated analytical thinking skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills needed to handle diversified and changing workload
- Demonstrated leadership qualities including goal setting and service awareness
- Demonstrated ability to adapt well to progressive change
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written), teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
- Full vaccination in accordance with Niagara Health's Vaccination Policy
