We are immediately hiring a **SALES PROFESSIONAL **as part of our **Western Canada** team with a concentration and home base location of **VANCOUVER.** You will be a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of developing and delivering new sales business opportunities with commercial contractors, installers, architects, and ARDEX distributor partners, through job site visits, cold calls, professional presentations, and a solution driven, "customer first" approach. This is a field sales position with daily travel throughout the territory with some overnight. **Responsibilities**: - Drive, develop, promote, and grow sales of ARDEX products and systems throughout territory - Develop and maintain solid working relationships with distributors, contractors, specifiers, and other key business influencers - Retain current accounts and prospect new business opportunities - Successfully launch and promote new products via hands on product demonstrations, presentations & professional product displays - Collaborate with Corporate resources such Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to ARDEX customers - Drive lead generation through jobsite visits, lead generation services, cold calls etc. - Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans - Achieve and exceed targets, goals, and objectives, as established with Sales Manager - Represent ARDEX as an industry leader through exceptional professional standards, and a 'customer first' approach. **Experience and Skills**: - Minimum 5 years outside sales experience and / or minimum 5 years knowledge of building materials industries is required - Knowledge of flooring installation systems is highly desirable - Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally - Must be able to operate non power and power tools. Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service - Technically proficient. Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements - High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business and be customer-driven and professional - Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Able to make sound business decisions, influence, be assertive and close a sale - Self-starter. Able to use initiative, work and adapt to a fast paced and changing market - Demonstrates ARDEX company Values: Building Belonging, Fueling Passion, Driving Innovation, Embodying Integrity and Embracing Responsibility - Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
