As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible to perform a variety of entry level procurement tasks that support the goals and objectives of the purchasing department. You will work closely with Buyers to learn and be mentored on the primary functions of a Buyer.

Your job responsibilities include:

- Understand and utilize company ERP system.
- Create and issue purchase orders on a timely basis.
- Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on time delivery.
- Review daily reports to identify and prevent potential stock outs.
- Review supplier price changes and make recommendations if required.
- Maintain purchasing related information to retain data integrity.
- Collaborate with QA on any quality related issues.
- Work cross-functionally within the organization.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- College - 2 years or equivalent in a related discipline.

**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience using ERP/MRP systems is an asset but not required.
