**Forbes Bros Ltd.**is looking for **Laborers (full-time, permanent)**to join our team supporting our various work based out of Yorkton, SK and surrounding area(s).

The **Labourer** will be responsible for assisting other crew members in day-to-day tasks inclusive of but not limited to operating small equipment and tools to complete tasks, carrying and moving materials as needed and other additional tasks and duties as assigned.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
- Digging and back-filling trenches
- Pulling and placing underground and overhead cables
- Carrying and moving materials as needed
- Operating small equipment and hand tools
- Spotting for vehicles and equipment
- Site setup and cleanup, ensuring trash, debris and other potential dangerous materials from the construction site are removed
- Assisting craft/crew members with work as directed
- Following instruction and adhering to safe work practices
- Development of skills on varied and challenging tasks
- Performing additional tasks and duties as assigned
- Valid Class 5 license **_is required_**, Class 1A _an asset ($1 premium for class 1A drivers)_
- General knowledge of the principals involved in the operation of construction, maintenance methods and procedures **_is required_**:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team to efficiently and effectively complete jobs within deadlines
- Ability to travel to frequent overtime hours and weekend hours as required to accommodate to project schedules and needs
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
- Able and willing to present an acceptable five (5) year drivers abstract
