**Purpose**

Burkett Asset Management is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to join its growing team. The Associate Portfolio Manager is responsible for ensuring consistently superior levels of client service, supporting the portfolio manager in managing accounts, and is a key contributor to overall development of the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Addressing client and advisor account inquiries and responding in a timely manner
- Assisting with production of monthly internal metrics reports, preparation of performance reports at both fund and client level including the calculation of since inception performance returns and after-tax returns on both an account level and aggregate household level
- Completing monthly or quarterly due diligence questionnaires and liaising with other departments to compile and complete the requested information
- Addressing and managing ongoing client and counterparty information requests and collaborating with internal partners as well as external service providers to compile the requested information
- Accurately and reliably maintaining and updating client information, client holdings and market values on the CRM system
- Supporting the completion of ad-hoc tasks as required

**Job Requirements**

A career in Investment Management is challenging and fast-paced. Our clients have justifiably high expectations of our firm personnel. A high regard for accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Preference will be given to applicants who meet the following requirements:

- Degree in business or mathematics, with a specialization in finance or accounting, a Canadian registered CPA and has completed either Level I of CFA Program or holds a CIM designation.
- Professional ethics and integrity second to none.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of professional services experience.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years or relevant investment industry experience.
