**Night Auditor at The Met Hotel (Part time)**

**The Opportunity**
The **Met Hotel**is located in the historic Burr Block building in downtown New Westminster. Steeped with history, the Met is one of New Westminster’s favourite places to hang out with friends and co-workers.

**What You’ll Do**
- Investigate problems further by verifying all revenue and expenses were claimed, preparing the next day’s reports, including reconciling accounts with proficiency
- **Must be available to work 11:30pm
- 7:30am Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.** **Guaranteed 16 hours per week.**:

- Provide exceptional guest experience while maximizing the hotel’s profitability while simultaneously providing supervision, training, coaching, motivation, and policy implementation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, and handles any requests that may arise on an ad hoc basis
- Provide courteous, professional and pleasant phone manner
- Guest check-ins and outs, promptly, professionally with a welcoming manner
- Answering internal and external phones and transferring to proper departments
- Answering the reservation line and assisting guests with bookings or inquiries.
- Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner
- Must follow procedures and policies implemented by the Hotel
- Provide tourist information to Hotel guests
- Performing general office duties
- Responsible for cash float and processing proper form of payment
- Balance all accounts, statements and clerk batch’s

**What You Have**
- Must Have 1-2 years experience in motels, hotels or hostels
- Must be detailed orientated, self-motivated and reliable
- Solid customer service skills
- Experience handling hotel’s cash flow
- Must be able to identify and communicate and issues as soon as they arise
- **Must be currently living in B.C., Canada.**:

- **Must hold a valid work permit for a min of 1 year**
