**Job summary**

Our after-school educational program is seeking energetic and talented teachers in Math and Physics for high school students. We tailor our curriculum for the needs of students to reach their full potential. We are looking for enthusiastic tutors to deliver our curriculum, evolving with your input. You will work with individual students one-on-one and in group classes.

**Teaching responsibilities**
- Meet students at our office in Kerrisdale
- Teaching upper level physics concepts to Grade 10 - 12 students
- Deliver a pre-designed curriculum, employing proven study aides
- Assign and mark additional homework assignments
- Administer mock tests and perform regular assessments of student performance
- Record student performance for follow-up and progress report
- Collaborate with the program director to improve the curriculum and ensure the delivery method best suits the student

**Qualifications and skills**
- Must have a Masters or PhD degree in Math, Science, or Education degree
- Must have 3+ years of experience tutoring physics and/or math
- Have a full curriculum to deliver AP Calculus courses with homework assignments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Previously participated in or trained students for Physics, Math or Chemistry competitions (e.g. SIN, CAP, IPChO, CCO) is an asset
- Enthusiastic and flexible in teaching methods that promote the well-being of students
