- Seeking **Level 1 IT Support Technician** with strong, clear communication skills to join our **small team of 4 technicians**.
You are a **patient, polite, problem solver** who sees things through to resolution.
In this role, you will provide IT support to business clients. Professional communciation is required.
You will **respond and resolve issues promptly **and **within Service Level Agreement** timelines.
You will **schedule your own** remote support sessions.
You will **independently resolve** 80-90% of all Level 1 tickets and 40-50% of Level 2 tickets assigned or picked up by you. You can confer with or escalate to co-workers if stuck.
You will **document troubleshooting steps taken** in each ticket.
To troubleshoot, you can rely on internal documentation files, co-workers via Teams chat, and Google to help you expand your skills and confidence in troubleshooting new things.
You will take screen captures and create knowledge base and/or self help files for common/recurring issues, and **continually work outside your comfort zone to expand your skills and serve customers**.

**--- You will learn**:
- Fundamental concepts of Zero Trust Security and COBIT or NIST fundamentals (authentication of users, principle of least privilege, conditional access policies, data security and loss prevention policies etc)
- Setup of new users in Azure Active Directory, Intune, Endpoint Manager, Microsoft 365 and other tools
- Securely offboard users from same systems and revoke access
- Efficiently troubleshoot a wide variety of Level 1 and 2 tickets relating to Windows 10 and 11 Pro and Mac OS computers, routers, WiFi access points and network printers, some Google Cloud Workspace, and mostly Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft InTune, Microsoft AutoPilot, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams SharePoint etc and standard Line Of Business Apps such as common QuickBooks issues etc.
**--- Requirements**:
- Clean police background check
- Computer Systems networking program college graduate.
- Excellent command of English, interpreting customer requests accurately, replying to tickets with concise, error free language, clear verbal communication for phone support.
- High speed internet
- Quiet home office to work from
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
- Ability to work at client on site in Toronto and GTA, on occasion (e.g. local network or switches need hands on help)
