WE REQUIRE:
**Related education**:

- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
- Current CVIP license is an asset.

**Related experience**:

- Caterpillar powertrain experience preferred.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting experience an asset.
- Fluid transfer experience an asset.
- Cummins and/or Detroit engine experience an asset.
- Allison transmission experience an asset.

**Class 1 driver**’**s license**: Preferred but not mandatory.

**Physical ability**: You will perform hard manual labor.

**Remote work**: Away on a 15/13 rotation working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Our maintenance professionals put on a STEP Energy Services hardhat each day, and then get to work facing new challenges. Our equipment is state of the art, and purpose built and the programs that maintain it focus on preventative maintenance, and data driven, statistics based sampling.

Our fracturing services field mechanics work alongside our field professionals which allows them the opportunity to get to know the crew and equipment on a personal level. Our rotations are 15/6 with 12 hour shifts in the field. The team works on tractors, transport trailers, fracturing equipment, and sand hauling equipment. Our professionals are expected to repair and maintain the equipment in adherence to our processes, as well as support operations with advice on equipment with a major focus on preventative maintenance.
