**About Potash**
- The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.

Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for late 2026. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. **Purpose**
- The Principal Domain Architecture provides technical expertise in the design and operation of a specific domain (e.g. mining & operations) in line with business requirements.

**About the Role**
- To be successful in this role, you will:

- Define the conception, development and implementation of a product.
- Monitor and manage the performance, capacity and availability of services, resolve performance issues and support service & asset management throughout the lifecycle.
- Provide specialist advisory on BHP architectural standards, governance frameworks and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with global cybersecurity & enterprise architecture community to achieve the required outcomes for the customer.
- Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Define value drivers and determine the boundaries of an opportunity to determine if it is worth further investment.

**Work Location**
- This position will be based in Saskatoon with regular visits to the Jansen mine site. The associated work schedule will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working (flexible, shared workstations and a combination of office and work from home) is standard for BHP.

**About You**
- To be considered, you will need:

- Proven experience documenting architecture blueprints, standards, and patterns and representing solution architecture at review boards.
- Tertiary qualification in Technology, Engineering or Trade equivalent.
- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification.
- Experience with Archimate.
- Experience in Azure & AWS solution architecture.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence peers within a global architecture and cybersecurity community, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to engage with internal and external customers.

Other competencies that will be highly valued are:

- IT Service Management Framework (ITIL Foundation) certification.
- Experience working in the mining industry.
- Experience with underground mining technologies.
- Experience with remote operations technologies.
