Pilot Driver

We are seeking an experienced Pilot Driver for a full or part time position. At Ryker Oilfield Hauling our pilot drivers operate a vehicle that escorts oversized trucks and other large loads.

Key Accountabilities: Ensure the safe movement of over dimensional loads by maintaining an adequate distance in front of or behind the unit carrying the load in order to warn approaching vehicles of the over dimensional load. Our pilot drivers also assist operators with tasks on job sites.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 license - cannot be a GDL license
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year experience in yard operations
- Must be willing to work away from home for periods of time, including night shifts and overnight shifts
- Pilot Truck Certification course, is an asset
- Maintain safety as a priority in all jobs

Working Conditions:

- Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wainwright, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- pilot truck: 1 year (preferred)
- oilfield hauling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Class 1 Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
