- Cocotte Bistro, will be a refined yet casual take on an authentic French bistro with a distinctly National Capital lens. Cocotte Bistro will also bet on bubbles by the glass, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, social hour specials and sharing items prepared and served en cocotte._

**Job Duties**
- Full table service in the bistro, lounge, café and/or meeting rooms, including responsible service of alcohol
- Taking room service orders, ringing them in accurately and/or delivering room service orders as required
- Greeting guests at the front door, seating guests appropriately, answering phones, responding to requests
- Adhering to all trained steps of service to consistently deliver the best guest experience
- Setting up, cleaning, stocking your station, while maintaining sanitation and organization standards
- Interact with guests, assessing their needs and preferences while also making beverage and food recommendations, providing your personal suggestions, being informative of features
- Always taking responsibility for ensuring a positive guest experience
- Maximize sales opportunities by becoming an expert on all wine and food offerings and demonstrating salesmanship by suggestively selling
- Provide genuine hospitality by engaging with guests throughout their entire experience, maintaining a positive personality throughout
- Following established standards and timing in greeting, taking orders, delivering orders, and billing
- Exceptional knowledge of food choices, wine selection, wine service and liquor and beer offerings
- Handling cash and card transactions, ensuring charges and change are accurate
- Practice a very high level of communication and teamwork with peers and management
- Clean and stock agreed designated areas by following checklist procedures and opening or closing routines
- Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of professionalism by following the established dress code; maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately

**Schedule**:

- Morning, afternoon and evening shifts
- Monday to Sunday
- Weekend and holiday availability

**Job Requirements**
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and French
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality, wine, beverages and food
- Possess a strong work ethic with a desire to achieve team goals
- Ability to work in a team environment, prioritize, multi-task and manage your time during high volume and busy times
- Being physically able to move quickly, stand and walk for long periods of time 8+ hours and lift at least 50 pounds

Part-time hours: 0-26 per week

**Salary**: From $16.28 per hour
