Are you an expert in locksmithing with a passion for security? Our company is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled Locksmith Technician to join at our Woodbridge location. If you have extensive experience in architectural door hardware, Medeco restricted keyways, and key systems, we want you on our team

What You’ll Do:

- Install and service door hardware to client specifications
- Repair and maintain safe bolt works, combination locks, and time delay locks
- Work with fire and burglary safes, local building codes, and life safety regulations
- Design and maintain master key systems (standard & high security)
- Perform combination lock manipulation and drilling
- Innovate on-site to keep all client equipment operational
- Recommend physical security enhancements in consultation with clients
- Ensure proper paperwork, maintenance of company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Assist with vault and safe installations, including refurbishing and painting
- Participate in cross-training for Electronic Security Systems
- Follow the on-call schedule for emergency services

What You Bring:

- 2-5 years of locksmith/safe technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to provide a Driver’s Abstract
- Grade 12 or equivalent, locksmith certifications, and journeyman certificate (an asset)
- Ability to lift 25+ kilos and handle heavy equipment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and take direction well
