**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- With direction from the Department Supervisor, lead staff through daily shift tasks, some of which are repetitive in nature
- Willing and able to demonstrate tasks to others
- Completion of property maintenance tasks including snow removal, picking litter, and campsite maintenance
- Completion of custodial tasks to include, cleaning washrooms, vault toilets, showers, and all other public use areas, dusting, disposal of sanitary products, washing walls/floors/windows
- Willing and able to operate small equipment such as power washers, string trimmers, blowers
- Collect and transport garbage and recyclable material for disposal/processing
- Move supplies, picnic tables and equipment as directed
- Support with setup, takedown and operation of special events and functions
- Support with set up of seasonal operations
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Qualifications**:

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
- Customer service mindset, ability to anticipate needs, with strong problem solving and decision-making skills in managing guest interactions and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time, bend, stretch, and work from ladders or step stools
- Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. _*Abstract completed by Conservation Halton_.

- Part time and full-time hours available; hours may vary depending on availability.
- Working hours will vary (daytime and evening shifts) and will include weekends and holidays.
