**Adfast is currently seeking a Machinist**

**Job descriptions**

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator, the Machinist is responsible for creating, manufacturing, dismantling, reassembling, restoring, and installing maintenance parts, as well as performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

**Working Conditions**:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Status : Permanent

Benefits: Group insurance, RRSP program

**Main tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the design and manufacture of new maintenance parts (R&D)
- Dismantle, reassemble and restore maintenance equipment parts
- Perform mechanical preventive maintenance on machines
- Follow safety measures imposed by OHS managers
- Maintain quality standards in accordance with ISO requirements

**Requirements**:

- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in machining technology
- Be autonomous in conventional machining
- A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience
- Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset)

**Desired Skills**:

- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to provide support and solutions to production
- Ability to read and interpret modification and manufacturing drawings
- Ability to operate various tools and machines (lathes, milling machines, surface, and cylindrical grinding machines)
- Autonomous and organized
- Good team spirit
- Good analytical skills

Monday to Friday

Hours vary between 6:00am and 4:00pm;
Day Shift.

40 hours a week
