Café Buffet Clerk

Country Grocer **Bowen Road** is looking for a **Full and Part Time** **Café/ Buffet Clerk **to join their awesome team The Café Buffet Clerk will be responsible for prepping and cooking products to be sold from our in-store buffets. The Cafe/ Buffet will clerk also be responsible for keeping the area clean and closing duties including cleaning. The position requires an individual who has a passion for food, able to multitask and work well in a team as well as on their own.

**Some of what you will do**:

- You will prepare/cook buffet product for purchase
- You'll follow Food Safe procedures at all times
- You will insure correct quantities of food are prepared to meet daily needs
- You will assist customers by answering their questions and addressing their concerns
- You'll maintain a clean and sanitary department at all times

**Requirements**:

- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- 1 year cooking experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- FoodSafe certification preferred; However Country Grocer will be happy to help you obtain
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
