**Position Summary**

JVC Group is currently looking for **Skilled Labourers** to join our team. This position is a full time, long term role with a stable and consistent schedule in the local Sherwood Park area. The **Skilled Labourer** position is required to be dependable, energetic, and safety conscious. They must demonstrate a positive attitude with fellow workers and clients and ensure all equipment is kept clean, properly maintained, and ready for work.

**Compensation Highlights**

**Compensation**: starting between $23 to $32 per hour

**Job type**:Full Time

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- H2S Alive
- CSTS 0.9 (Construction Safety Training Systems)
- Standard - Intermediate First Aid AED/CPR
- Valid Class 5 drivers license, with clean driving abstract
- Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Ground Disturbance and Fall Protection is an asset.

**Education and Experience**

Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks as needed, including lifting 50lbs on a regular basis
- Experience in the pipeline or industrial construction industry is an asset
- Heavy Equipment, Hydro-Vac and/or Combo-Vac experience is considered an asset
- Class 1 or 3 valuable but not a requirement.
- Able to operate or willing to learn Skid steer, loader, packer, tractor etc.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of mechanical processes, good with tools.
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals
- Technologically inclined, to be able to complete daily safety paperwork on phone app.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

**Salary**: $23.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
