Host/hostess/busser

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Take orders by phone and online
- Assist servers by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding guest needs and special requests.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, answering questions about the menu or restaurant services.
- Operate the POS system for processing orders when necessary.
- Ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Assist in kitchen prep and cleaning
- Wash dishes and organize
- Other duties as needed

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of menu items and dining etiquette.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
