**About This Role**

We are looking for Project Manager in Toronto, ON (Remote). It’s a great opportunity to join HCL, multinational information technology services and consulting company.

As the new Project Manager, you will join the Project Management department and manage large scale utility technology projects.

**Job Requirements**
- 8+ years of project management experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in leading 2+ **utility projects **(electric, gas, water, sewerage etc) is **mandatory**
- Experience in managing teams across multiple location / geography
- Experience in project management tool (eg MPP,etc)
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies

**Skills And Abilities**
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Professional certification such as PMP will be preferred
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and serving as the Project Manager on various utility projects
- Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our utility design capabilities
- Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed
- Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others in the office
- Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations
- Performs other duties as assigned which are directly related to the major responsibilities of the job.

Work Authorization: Must be a Canadian citizen, PR, or a Work Permit holder.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $110.00-$120.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Project management: 9 years (required)
- Utility Projects (Gas, Water, Sewerage, Electricity): 2 years (required)
