Our employees develop innovative solutions to technological challenges. **ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Acts as an "assistant" to the Group Leader - Plans the assignments of employees to the various projects of the department. - Performs technical monitoring of the evolution of projects and milestones, in collaboration with technical leaders when required. - Monitoring of issues and their resolution according to the objectives. - Keeps the group leader informed on the progress of projects and the general performance of employees. - Participates in project kick-off and schedule review meetings. - Performs the validation of the budget necessary for the realization of the project. - Identifies financial risks and engages in the financial cycle. - Manages and delegates project tasks in the Jira system. - Acts as the first point of contact for project managers for all matters relating to the technical execution of projects and reassigns the request. - Monitors the various existing processes and procedures while recommending improvements. - Develop strategies and solutions to improve team efficiency. - Assists the group leader during team meetings. - Track vacations and absences of the team. - Other related tasks may be assigned as needed. **QUALIFICATIONS** - Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and training. - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Previous experience as a manager is an asset. - A proven ability to lead and coordinate a group of employees in a rapidly evolving technology environment. - A strong understanding of the basics of product verification and validation. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Bilingualism (English and French) essential. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong team spirit. - A high degree of autonomy and responsibility **CAE offers**: - An environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued - The opportunity to travel internationally - The opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team - The possibility to work from home occasionally - Flexible schedules - Attractive employee benefits Come share your passion with us LI-CG1 **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
