Combustion and Instrumentation Technicians

If you answer yes to any of the above questions, we are interested in hearing from you ProTherm Ltd. is currently seeking **Combustion and Instrumentation Technicians** to join the Team on a full-time permanent basis.

A Combustion Technician and an Instrumentation Technician is primary responsible for providing configuration, service, start up, and commissioning of combustion process equipment and boiler controls systems in manufacturing and industrial plants.

**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:
Service:

- Routine maintenance combustion system safety controls and instrumentation
- Gas train service and maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repairing combustion system including, burner management systems, fuel delivery systems, combustion air systems, electrical/control systems.
- Diagnosing burner/appliance technical issues and work with solutions group to solve difficult problems.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Successfully completed a Gas course and/or an Instrumentation course.
- Proven ability to develop an understanding of the entire combustion/boiler processes and applies knowledge in performing system diagnosis, start up and commissioning
- Proven clean driving record is required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively troubleshoot industrial control systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to effectively present to clients and management team. Fluency in more than one language is an asset
- Able to work under mínimal supervision
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work on-call and overtime hours as required
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
