**_Position Summary: _**
Presents a positive image to Gordon Food Service (GFS) customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of GFS products. Serves as liaison between GFS management and customers. Communicates all customer issues and concerns. Operates GFS equipment in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail, safe work habits, working knowledge of Tractor-Trailer, refrigerated van and the ability to deal effectively with customers and the public. Must pass the required sales service representative physical ability test for area hired.
**_Essential Functions: _**
- Ensures safe, accurate, and timely deliveries of GFS products, maintaining efficiency.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships, demonstrating self-control.
- Collects customer payments accurately, adhering to GFS banking policies.
- Performs all Sales Service functions within 90 days of employment.
- Conducts proper equipment maintenance, monitors reefer temperature, and reports issues promptly.
- Completes daily check-ins accurately and on time.
- Collaborates with management and sales representatives to address customer concerns.
- Performs daily pre/post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, managing paperwork efficiently.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with other GFS employees.
- Maintains peer relationships to share issues and ideas, attending department meetings.
- Performs assigned duties.
**_Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: _**
- Adheres to safety and compliance regulations.
- Maintains professional appearance in GFS uniform.
- Requires punctuality, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
- Works independently and in a team environment.
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in English language.
