**Overview**:
**Job descriptions**:
- Assign workers to their respective tasks.
- Determine work schedules for different workers.
- Ensure initial and ongoing training of workers in specific functions, company policies and safety measures.
- Advise and evaluate employees.
- Supervise workers in their daily tasks.
- Review work performed to ensure quality.
- Monitor the work environment to ensure that it is conducive to the smooth running of operations (e.g., workplace conditions, state of equipment).
- Resolve problem situations and report on actions taken.
- Verify inventory management and ensure that orders for materials and supplies are placed on time.
**Skills required**:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong ability to work independently
- Leadership skills required
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good judgment to make the best decisions in any given situation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience as a site supervisor or in a similar role.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team leadership role in the safety field.
**Education required**:
- High school diploma required.
- First aid training recognized by CNESST.
- Valid driver's license.
- BSP license
- APAS use-of-force training leading to P12 bonus.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Retail Manager.
- AEC in industrial project management
- Fire prevention officer training (an asset)
