Canada Moving is Canada’s largest family-owned moving company and is looking to add a DZ driver to our team in Burlington, Ontario.
- **Job Description**_

As the DZ Driver, under the direction of the dispatcher, you will be responsible for operating and driving vehicles to help transport household goods and materials. This position will comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation.
- You will report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations and/or damage to the vehicles.
- Be prepared and plan the logistics of the trip and obtain appropriate paperwork that is needed for transportation.
- Preform pre-trip inspections on vehicle load to ensure safety and road worthiness.
- Maintain contact with dispatcher in accordance with travel plan.
- You will also need to complete all necessary paperwork at the end of your shift, including daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections and hours of service, all following applicable provincial and federal regulations.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Work alongside experienced crew to complete moves.
- Follow safety requirements.

- DZ license. One-year DZ experience (preferred)
- Experience in the moving field (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
