The laser marking operator is responsible for the identification of parts machined to customer specifications using laser machines.

**Responsibilities**

  • Setup, adjust and operator marking equipment according to procedures;
  • Interpret work instructions using work orders and/or technical documentation provided by customer;
  • Ensure the marking of parts in accordance with specifications and quality standards;
  • Inspection of parts following marking operations to ensure the conformity of marking sequences comply with the requirements and that the parts have not been damaged;
  • Perform cleaning of parts and basic preventive maintenance functions on and around the machine;
  • Manage basic cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on laser machines.

**Job qualifications**

  • High school diploma or technical diploma in machining techniques or any other combination of technical training and experience deemed relevant;
  • Experience in a similar position is an asset;
  • Must be meticulous and able to work with small details;
  • Bilingual - French and English; able to work with English work instructions

**Availability to work on a day shift from Monday to Friday 07:15am to 3:15pm**
