A&S Towing has providing professional and curious support for motorist since 1994. We are looking to hire an experienced Tow Truck Operator to join our team. You would be required to travel to breakdown or accident locations, providing roadside emergency service, or loading, securing and towing a variety of automotive makes and models to their required destinations. You will have the opportunity to learn and advance from light duty operations, such as passenger vehicles to heavy duty tractors and trailers.

We will provide training, however having basic mechanical and auto electrical skills is definitely an asset.

**Tow Truck Operator's Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Daily Vehicle Inspections
- Receiving communications from dispatchers both verbally and electronically
- Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
- Scene safety and assessments
- Interacting with the customers.
- Performing roadside services, including boosts, tire changes, lockouts or fuel deliveries.
- Suggesting a course of action.
- Recovering, securing and transporting vehicles.
- Reporting to base and completing paperwork.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with automotive
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
- Valid driver’s license. DZ or AZ preferred, but we are also accepting G licensed applicants.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Commission pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Bay, ON P1B2M4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
