We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Data Scientist to join our data-driven team. In this role, you will lead complex data projects from end-to-end, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive actionable insights, develop advanced models, and shape data strategy across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve business problems.
- Translate business requirements into data science projects with clear objectives and deliverables.
- Lead data exploration, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection/evaluation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business units to deliver data-driven insights.
- Drive experimentation and A/B testing strategies to optimize product and business decisions.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and production-grade models in collaboration with data engineering.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
- Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and databases (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions using data.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4W 5R1
