Housekeeper / Room Attendant (Motel in Hope)

We're looking for a hard working and reliable individual who is interested to work as a housekeeper for our quaint mid-sized family run motel in Hope, BC.

**Education**:
Not required but High School is an asset

**Experience**:
Not required, looking for individual willing to learn. Previous experience in the hospitality field and customer service is an asset

Work hours:
Normally starts at 9am. Can be flexible depending on work required and longer hours needed during busy season.

**Responsibilities**:
Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms
Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
Clean bathrooms and fixtures
Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required

Might be asked to help with administrative, front desk, or customer service related tasks when needed.

Skills and Abilities:
Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling. Being able to finish tasks on time.

Transportation/Travel Information:
Own transportation, public transit is available.
