- Analyze the probable outcome of claims.
- Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for trial or to negotiate settlement.
- Gather and examine evidence to ascertain the facts of the case.

**Qualifications + Skills**:

- A current active membership with a Canadian Law Society, with 1-3 years of demonstrated competency in insurance defence or other litigation;
- Demonstrated experience synthesizing complex information and crafting clear and persuasive written and oral arguments;
- Solid technical grounding in legal research demonstrating an attention to detail combined with superior evaluative and analytical abilities;
- The ability to work independently and within a team; and
- Strong client service skills.
