Here we grow again Named one of Canada’s fastest growing companies for the 7th consecutive year, Sweets from the Earth, is looking for Receivers to join our Warehouse Team immediately

As a proud plant-based manufacturer with an emphasis on organic and non-GMO ingredient sourcing, we boast a reduced-footprint operation compared to conventional food manufacturers. We are a customer driven organization catering to special diets and allergies while focusing on sustainable agriculture and the green food industry.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform full inventory count of raw materials facilities on a weekly basis.
- Check incoming driver ID and ensure they fill out Driver Sign-in form.
- Follow GMP rules
- Receive shipments while ensuring the correct quantity and product are received.
- Record lot codes, quantities, and deviations in the tablets.
- Put away product in their designated pallet spots and recording the bin number in the tablets.
- Submit transfer sheets, receiving records and supplier paperwork to supervisor on a daily basis.
- Ensure raw materials are stored according to FIFO (first in first out)
- Organize the warehouse such that older lots are more accessible and have a “Use First” sticker on them.
- Ensure all ingredients with allergens are in their corresponding allergen spot according to the warehouse map.
- Ensure “On Hold” items are in the Hold Area with appropriate paperwork attached.
- Notify QA and Purchaser if incoming material is damaged or does not meet standards.
- If there is a need of ingredient transfer, ensure Ingredient Transfer Sheet is filled out correctly.
- Work closely and communicate with GF Production Manager about products that are in production and provide Production staff with necessary ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and receiving area, clean up any spills immediately.
- Ensure there are no empty drums near shipping docks and that all empty drums are put away from shipping docks.
- Monitor the chemical drums and replace them as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a food manufacturing facility required
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, Time Management
- High School Education Required, College/University Degree Preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Control Program is a must.
- Reach truck, walkie and/or scissor lift license an asset.

**Working Conditions**
- Ability to stand on their feet for most of the day.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Working in walk-in freezers that are -18 Celsius while picking orders or putting away pallets.
- Must work in a fast-paced manner and perform well under pressure.
